Proof that 7 inches is far more than average - GHOT crashes in with a desperately infectious electro riff, and then proceeds to drag you around the dancefloor with huge crunching beats, warped bass and stuttering guitars. JJ begs for deliverance through a broken megaphone; apparently he doesn’t want to be alone tonight – who does?

On it’s release, Get Hold of This was a favourite of Steve Lamacq. The generous chap liked it so much that he played both sides of the record on his Radio 1 show.

It also got a good airing by Dave Ball (Soft Cell) on his BBC 6 radio show.
